Better Approach to Layer 7 Control UTM or NGFW ?

Mankind Always taken step to reduce human effort and to minimize the case of failure Things like unified threat management system UTM and next generation firewall NGFW are developed to control Intrusion Detection System and Intrusion Prevention system and many more in One System. Of course its a Good Approach I will discuss the Disadvantage in Next Blog Today I am here to share my own opinion on which has better approach to layer 7 control.

NGFW (next generation firewall) is an product that at the very least includes Intrusion Prevention System deeds and application awareness .

Given that both NGFW and UTM perform the same basic functions, There is no doubt in that Even many IT professionals use the two terms interchangeably. The price range on either purchase even tends to fall within the same general range.

Ultimately, the decision should be based on whether you need the extra services a UTM offers over NGFW, since the NGFW is incorporated within the UTM. More protection, provided you have the monitor and responded to the information generated, is always beneficial, as is staying ahead of incoming cyber security threats.

So in My opinion UTM is one step ahead from NGFW although the cons which i will discuss in next blog is still a big issue of the ease of mankind.
