Today I will tell you what is the Easy Way and tool to Learn or Implement Router Configuration. There are many Software available for Virtual Network Topology and connection check Like CISCO Packet Tracer and GNS-3 .  
But I like GNS-3 Because I use it for my self.These tools made things so easy like network test before implementing a topology..when its comes to Test a complex or large network

Graphical Network Simulator-3
Graphical Network Simulator-3 is a network software emulator first released in 2008. It allows the combination of virtual and real devices, used to simulate complex networks. It uses Dynamics emulation software to simulate Cisco Devices.

When You all Ready You have to create a Network first which contain Switch Router and Host then right Click on Router and go to Configuration it will Directly take you to the Login Page or You can lookup the Router IP and Paste into your Browser it will Index you to the Login Page
  
Then You Have to right username and password which is on back side of your Router given by the vendor.It Will open a UI Version of Router Software with categories and Option So 
You can  set the option like Remote Access . Open SSID WEP/WPA security

We can also open through Console LIke if we Nmap the the router IP.

Nmap provides a number of features for probing computer networks, including host discovery and service and operating system detection. SO,
All we have to Type This command  nmap <IP> There you can 

• Host discovery — probing by IP address and providing information on the systems that respond
• Port scanning — identifying services that are available for use
• Version detection — identifying applications and their versions
• OS detection — determining the operating system along with some hardware characteristics.
